Hello! This is my first entry for this blog. I'm not new to the blogosphere by any means but blogging about gaming is definitely new. My name is Kit. I go by poetanarchy on twitch.tv and my LoL main account is C9 Forever (I'm a silver scrub, oh no). I'm 27 years old and forever a nerdy grill. I'm not sure what else people would care to know about me outside of those facts.
This first blog is just going to be about why I'm a fan and just a bit about my preferences game wise (teams, positions, champs!). This is going to be mostly an opinion type blog so you probably won't want to follow it if you're looking for lots of tips and tricks.
Before League of Legends, I never got into sports or the "team" spirit type of thing. I'd never really been into the gaming thing as a child either. I grew up without ever owning a gaming system. I was 24 or so before I owned a gaming system for the first time. I'd played computer games -- Civ III, SIMs and then I played World of Warcraft and Diablo II for a really long time. I got into League of Legends the week after Azir was released.
It didn't take long to get completely hooked to League of Legends. I got to level 30 in about a month and a half or so. My first season playing ranked I got played into S2 but I didn't understand the ranked system and ended up in S4 through a lot of stupidity (and some unlucky internet mishaps). I don't even want to talk about Season 5. I'm still too depressed about what happened with it but I'm happy to have ended up in silver and now I'm just trying to improve my MMR for next sesason.
In any case, I got pulled into watching League competitively and quickly Sneaky became my favorite player and then Cloud 9 was my favorite team (and LemonNation became my favorite player). I learned to love a lot of teams. I loved Team8 because of maplestreet and Calitrolz. And Gravity. I love the watching the way people grow from week to week during the season. I'm also a bit addicted to streams now. I'm subbed to way too many people. Right now, my favorite teams are C9, RNG, OG, FNC and Tigers. I'm probably going to be cheering on Immortals as well because well... Maplestreet loyalty right here.
I'm a jungle/support main. I love Shyvana but lately I've played a lot of Nami, Kindred and I've been trying to pick up Mundo (mixed results). But part of my preseason goal is to a-z once I own all champs (I'm missing like 6).
This is really all I have for my first entry. I'm not sure exactly where to go but we'll figure it out together... if anyone reads it! Comment if you like and I'll definitely comment back. If you have any ideas for blog topics let me know and I'll highly consider it.
